Will Solicitors
Will Solicitors is the online wills and estate-planning service of a solicitors' practice in Stockport. They needed service pages with clear pricing, a way for people to book a consultation, and a blog they could run without asking us. The prices on the site and the decision to host it on their own server were theirs; the build was ours. This page shows what we built, what it has done and the parts it runs on.
How we built it
A practice's website should be something the practice can run. The pages that change often have an editor behind them; the rest stays still.
What we built
- Service pages for wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning, each with the practice's own published pricing.
- A booking page on the practice's consultation calendar, taking people to a thank-you page once they have booked.
- A resource hub and blog with its own admin: drafts, published and archived posts, categories, tags, featured images and search.
- A rich-text editor, so the practice writes and publishes on its own.
- Team pages with a profile for each person, and pages for the practice's values, careers and contact details.
- The practice's service-level agreement and cookie policy, each as a page of its own.
What it did
The build is complete and the site is live on the practice's own server. In August 2026 its booking page moved onto the same consultation calendar the rest of the practice uses, so every booking goes to one shared pool of people.
The parts
A web front end, a small server and one database, with an admin login for the practice. The blog and the resource hub are pages the practice edits itself, and the booking page reads from the same calendar as the rest of the firm. And one design choice that suits a practice: the site lives on their server, not ours, so it is theirs to keep whatever happens to us.
What it took us
The site moved to a new server in March 2026, and a plan for growing it was delivered in August. Getting its pages read properly by search engines is the next piece of work. The date of the first build is not in our records.
